5-2 win puts the Steelers Back In the Win Column

The Selkirk Steelers travelled to Swan Valley to take on the Stampeders for the first game in a 2 games in 2 nights road trip. Just over 6 minutes into the first period, Swan Valley opened the scoring to make it 1-0. Just over 5 minutes later, Ethan Eang scored his first goal as a Steeler to tie it up at 1’s. Onto the second period, with Swan Valley leading 2-1, Nico Labossiere potted his 9th of the season to tie it at 2’s. 40 seconds later, Connor Barley scored to put the Steelers ahed 3-2.

Empty nets became the theme in the third period as the Barley boys (Carter and Connor) each scored 1 of their own to end the game 5-2. Hayden Dola was between the pipes to get his 14th win of the season, making 28 saves on 30 shots.
