Steelers Team Up And Train With NO LIMIT TRAINING This Season
RJ Padua
is a strength, speed, & conditioning coach, personal trainer, body worker and motivational speaker/coach. RJ owns and directs No Limit Training, a premier, cutting-edge system for Health & Human Performance in Winnipeg, MB that focuses on personal training, strength & conditioning, boot camps, corporate workouts and sport specific training. His cliental ranges from mothers, daughters, dads and uncles to single A hockey players all the way up to Olympic Athletes. He has taken undrafted, unknown hockey players and helped them evolve to the elite athletes in the game today. RJ earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology from The University of Winnipeg. He continued his education earning a Canadian National certification in Athletic Therapy. He has certifications as strength and conditioning specialist, personal trainer and has taught university and high school courses in health and physical education.

MVP Dickin Accepts Offer From Fighting Sioux
The Selkirk Steelers are proud to announce that forward Taylor Dickin has accepted a scholarship to play Division 1 hockey at the University of North Dakota.The University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux play in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. Dickin will join the Sioux this fall. The 21 year old Winnipeg product has played the last 3 seasons with the Steelers. He capped off his junior career with a tremendous 2009-10 campaign. Playing in all 62 league games, Dickin recorded 40 goals and 52 assists totalling 92 points. This was good for 3rd in the MJHL scoring race. For his efforts Dickin was named the MVP of the league.
Dickin recently returned from the Toronto Maple Leafs prospects camp where he was able to showcase his skills to the Leafs brass.
The Selkirk Steelers would like to congratulate Taylor on his scholarship and wish him all the best at UND.
SELKIRK STEELERS FALL ROOKIE CAMP
AUGUST 27th – 29th
Rookie Camp will open on Friday, August 27th at the Selkirk Recreation Complex.
This camp is an open camp; all players interested in trying out for the 2010-11 Steelers are welcome. Your early confirmation will assure you a spot at this year’s camp.
As you are likely aware skill, hard work skill and determination are qualities that are vital to succeed in life as well as in hockey. If you have these qualities the Steelers would like to see you on the ice at our camp.
We will select the best players from the rookie camp, all those selected will have the opportunity to move on to our Main Camp commencing on Monday August 30th
Should you succeed in making our club you have our word that we will promote you to the best of our abilities in order that you may reach all of your hockey and academic goals.
We are looking forward to seeing you at our camp.

· For team placements please call General Manager Ken Petrash @ 204.795-6094 on or after Tuesday August 24th.
· If you are traveling with some other players we will do our best to place you on the same team – please indicate this on the application form
· All players with midget eligibility must wear full cages neck guards and mouth guards no exceptions
· Jerseys will be provided for the weekend
