Player of the Week

Hayden Dola
Interlake Lightning

Although he earned only one win during the week, Interlake Lightning’s Hayden Dola had an impressive three-game stretch as he stopped 113 of the 121 shots he faced over his 146 minutes played and posted an impressive .934 save percentage.

On Saturday against Parkland Rangers, Dola stopped 39 of the 41 shots he faced in Interlake’s 3-2 victory, then was bombarded with 46 shots in a 2-1 loss to the league-leading Brandon Wheat Kings. The 15-year-old native of Winnipeg Beach is this week’s DEKALB East Division Player of the Week.
