Steelers Nab 2 Off Of Stampeders for 6th Straight Win

The Selkirk Steelers travelled to Swan Valley to take on the Stampeders for the second time in three days. 59 Seconds into the game, Nate Halvorsen got the boys in red on the board to go up 1-0.  Nolan Ferguson added another in the first to give the Steelers a 2-1 lead going into the second.

After a scoreless second period, Ryan Gardiner opened the scoring in the third making it 3-1 Steel. After Swan Valley answered, Carter Barley added some insurance to solidify the win, 4-2. Hayden Dola saved 34 of 36 shots to get his 3rd straight win. The Steelers have now won 6 straight games on this current streak and look to keep that success going as they take on OCN tomorrow evening.
