The Steelers fall to the Pistons 4-2

The Selkirk Steelers' defense had a poor night, allowing the Steinbach Pistons 29 shots throughout the game. The Steinbach Pistons took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Darby Gula.

Darby Gula delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Brad Schoonbaert chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first, Hillis opened the scoring for Selkirk with a goal at 2:26 with a helper from fellow Steelers forward Schneider. Barley put in a goal at 18:40 with helpers from teammates Halvorsen and Lavoie.

In the second, Worrad finally put Steinbach on the board with a goal at 13:29 with assists from Schoonbaert and Taraschuk.

During the third, Johnson deposited a goal at 7:11 with helpers from his linemates, Pion and Mcconnell. Gula quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 8:52 with an assist from Pion. Schoonbaert quickly followed with a goal at 9:02 with helpers from Gula and Worrad.
