The Selkirk Steelers played host to the Winnipeg Blues in our Home Opener on October 9th, 2020. The boys came out playing hard but unfortunately fell short losing 5-3 in regulation time. Dropping the puck was the Selkirk Steelers first ever advisory board, in the picture we have Wendell Koop, Marlene Kartinen, Lynette Koop and Don Kartinen, missing from the picture is Buck Anderson & Kent Scramstad. We had 228 in attendance that night.
