Steelers downed by the Flyers

What started out as an exciting first period for both teams, was slowly walked away with by the Flyers.

Steelers opened up the scoring in the first few minutes, but were quickly countered, ending the first period with a score of 3 – 2 lead for the Steelers.

The Winkler Flyers were the only ones to get on the board during the second period  with three of their own.

The third period started out with the Steelers putting one on the board, again, the Flyers were quick to match and mount that lead  the Steelers to the 7 – 4 loss.

In net for the Steelers was #1 Levi Mitchell, who saved 34 of the 40 shots taken on him.
