Steelers fall to the Pistons

Selkirk Steelers were hosted today by the Steinbach Pistons.

With both teams heading into a stretch of double headers this weekend, they both wanted to ease the chain by getting a ‘W’ in this competition.

Pistons came out early and locked in 2 first period markers, followed by neither team scoring in the second.
Midway through the third, the Steelers would get on the score sheet and again late in the period, closing the gap to 3 – 2.  Pistons put away an empty netter and sealed the fate to a 4 – 2 loss.

Steeles goals scored by; Sheldin Howard ASST: Ryan Piwniuk, Carter Barley.  Carter Barley ASST: Ryan Piwniuk, Colby Jaquet
