Steelers handed another Strike

Selkirk Steelers have been on a downhill slope for the last few games and had hoped to break that cycle tonight in Virden against the Oil Capitals.

Late in the first period, Steelers got on the board and looked to begin a run for a win, heading into the second with a lead score of 2 – 1.

Steelers put one on the board during the second, but it was no match for the 6 goals on Virden’s score sheet and were left behind to an 8 – 4 loss.
