Steelers Sweep OCN in back to back games

Selkirk Steelers were playing host to the OCN Blizzard on both Saturday on home ice and Sunday, in Peguis at the Peguis Multiplex.
Saturday, October 26th, was opening up to look like an OCN game throughout the first period, as they were the only team on the board.
It wouldn’t be until midway through the 2nd period when the Steelers got their first goal and would begin to mount a comeback. This competition would go into overtime and be won over by a goal from Brett Namaka ASST Eric Krywy and Ryan Piwniuk, giving the Steelers a 4 – 3 win.

Sunday, October 27th, in Peguis at the Peguis Multiplex was a different story. The Steelers came out of the gates with a hunger for a victory and set out to do so by mounting the first goal by Riley Portner ASST Eric Krywy and Ryan Ostermann.
Selkirk Steelers would take the win for the second time, by a score of 4 – 1.

In net for the Steelers for both games was Levi Mitchell, who poster a 25 saves of 28 shots and then 17 saves of 18 shots
