After taking a loss the night before in Overtime in Steinbach, Selkirk was looking to bounce back on home ice.
With only one goal by the Steelers in the first and one in the second by the Stampeders, there was a fair amount of attention given to the penalty box by both sides. One thing was clear though, Regulation was not going to solve this contest.
It would be in the final minute of Overtime that the Stampeders would put past their game winner, to take the 2 – 1 victory.
Lone goal by Selkirk Steelers was scored by Riley Portner ASST: Jordan MacFarlane, Keeven Daniels-Webb
In net for the Steelers was Levi Mitchell, posting a 30 of 32 during tonight’s competition
