Streak comes to an end

Selkirk Steelers came out determined to break the egg tonight against OCN on Home Ice.   After being plagued with a string of losses, the Steelers pulled together for the win.

For the first 2 periods, Selkirk Steelers had control over the scoreboard. With a goal by Brayden Clark (ASST Carter Barley, Caiden Gault) and followed up by a goal from Patrick Comeau (ASST Tanner Pochipinski, Eric Krywy), Steelers headed into the 3rd period.

The 3rd period was very back and forth between OCN and the Steelers, however, Steelers prevailed with a 4 – 3 Victory.

The two 3rd period goals were scored by Cole Wigestrand (ASST Tanner Pochipinski, Blake Burr) and Patrick Comeau (ASST Eric Krywy, Cole Wigestrand)

In goal for the Steelers was Net-minder, Levi Mitchell, posting 31 saves with 34 shots on net.
