Selkirk saw their streaks come to a close to the 4 – 3 loss to the Steinbach Pistons.
Selkirk goaltender Zach Bennett, who was on his 5 game undefeated steak, and the Steelers 6 game winning streak weren’t able to seal the deal in this competition.
With just under 2 minutes left in regulation, Steinbach forward, Brendan Westbrook, solved the equally tasked goaltender Bennett, with his second goal of the game, to put his team up by 1 and become the game winning goal.
Zach Bennett, posted an impressive 46 saves against the 50 shots on net.
