Selkirk Steelers and the Swan Valley Stampeders went toe to toe in a spirited battle. Selkirk took an early 2 – 0 lead in the first period, then added one more in the second. The Stampeders did anything but laid back, as they got on the board later in the second and capitalized once in the third.
Zach Bennett, who was goal-tender for the Steelers for this competition, stood tall in net with 30 saves on 32 shots.
