Steelers successful over the Natives

Selkirk Steelers who were well rested after a week long game-less break, due to weather and road conditions, were quick out of the gates, but not the first on the score sheet.

It only took the Steelers 2 minutes after the Natives goal to answer back, however, Steelers would lose the tie before the end of the first period and head into the second down by a goal.

Selkirk took charge in the 3rd period, giving themselves the 4 – 2 lead they carried for the rest of the game.
