Virden Oil Capitals proved to be slipperier, this evening

Although Battle-ready and poised, Selkirk Steelers found themselves on the wrong side of the lead after two periods of play.  Midway into the third period, the Virden Oil Capitals made their mark and were able to build off of their lead and continue on for the win.

Ryan Piwnuik and Will Middleton would get the Selkirk Steelers two goals of this contest.  Zach Bennett, who was goaltender for tonight, was challenged and made 33 saves of the 39 shots on net.
